I graduated from Clear Lake High School, Clear Lake, SD, in 1986. I received a B.S. in Education from Northern State University with a Double Major in Special Education and Business Education. My first teaching job was with the Northeast Educational Services Cooperative, based out of Hayti, as an Early Childhood Teacher. I traveled and worked with Birth to 5 year olds with Special Needs for 10 years. In 2001, my children and I moved and I took on a new position with the Madison Middle School as a Resource Room Teacher. I am also a coach for our local Special Olympics.
